Nothing fancy here. just another little pondering... the other day I heard a lady say that life is too quick to wish away (i know, we hear it all the time, right). but then she said something that really struck me; she said we should live our lives intentionally. and at first I was like.. uh, duh. but I’ve really thought about it. and she’s so right. i am going to wake up in the morning and instead of thinking about tomorrow or the next day or the next week or the next season i should say what can i do today. how can I shine for God today.. how can I make today a great day.. how can I look forward to the ‘un-exciting’ parts of this day.. how can I take what I have and be absolutely content with it.. today I am going to do something, creative, exciting, fun, happy, joyful, beautiful, lovely, simple. making my days intentional!

ps.. i realize cereal really isn't that relevant...

but it's another simple thing.. we hardly take notice of

(aside from the taste, and not even that sometimes)

and i couldn't not post pictures! :) Enjoy your day!

So a couple days ago I had my window down and and I kept on seeing this Sparrow fly onto the electric line...

and he would just sit there cleaning himself...

as if nobody was there...

So I decide to grab my camera and take some photos of this little guy. :)

Well this post here is real short but I just wanted to drop by and post something! :) i was somewhat bored.. well more like distracted .. the other day and saw the salt and pepper shakers. they made me think. how so many things are paired and seen together... but are complete opposites. i mean for heaven's sake, just look at some of those couples out there! ;) but really... think about all those unique pairs... its so neat to think about. how each pair are so perfect for each other. how without the other.. it just seems empty. something would just be missing. it makes me excited to see the match God has for me! how does He do it?! he truly is a genius! its so cool! Well here are a just a few pairs i came up with:

milk and cookies.. salt and pepper.. boy and girl.. king and queen.. husband and wife.. cheese and crackers.. movies and popcorn.. peanut butter and jelly.. pencil and paper.. needle and thread .. cat and dog.. lock and key.. hugs and kisses.. (:

Soooo... this is kinda sorta what my life has looked like in the past, oh, 3 months.
Snowy, icy, wintry, cold... you name it, thats what it was!
We all love winter when its starts out, but after a time we just begin to get sick of it!!
And sometimes literally sick! :S
Sooo, now that it is March we have surely been introduced to the rain!
And boy do I love rain! No really, I do!

So here are the befores...
(Granted it was beautiful! Its just nice for a change every once and awhile)

And FINALLY Spring has arrived!!!! :D The first signs!!
Now we can all walk with a skip in our step, singing a tune down a sunny ol' path!

Here are some photos that I took from a recent trip to BJU for the Highschool Fest!

I had a really good time, and although I didn't place or anything like that, I learned a lot and got to see some friends that I hadn't seen in awhile! (Plus take a few photos here and there on my free time. :)

On our way to SC, we stopped in Tennessee to stretch our legs and and to take some photos of the gorgeous fall hills...and to take some fun photos of course. :)

After dinner one night, this is what we came out to...the most beautiful sunset ever.

Here I am with another post! :) Amazing what Thanksgiving break can do!
This is a senior shoot I did a little while ago. Stevie is a friend of mine in marching band and is an amazing percussionist!
The day we had this shoot was a dark and dreary, cold, windy and rainy day. But much to my surprise we had much success!! It helps when your subject is gorgeous! ;)

WE are NOT good at this blogging deal!

I have been so so busy... but I suppose that is no excuse. Anyone who has time for facebook can find some time for blogging... and everything else, right? ;)

Well I have done quite a few senior shoots recently (and am working up enough money to possible get a new camera!!!! eeepp! buut that's a whole other story (: and I can't wait until the day I can tell it!)

And I can not wait to share those recent shoots with ya'll out there! :)

Anyways.

This here is Ryan.

Chelsea and I did this shoot together. Though I do admit her pictures are 10 times better than mine, I will be willing to share, in all hopes, of course, that she will be encouraged to post hers! :)

Ryan is one of the many youngins from my church. Hehe though.. I suppose he's not considered a youngin' any more.

With 6 younger siblings and through high school, he really is an adult.

Buuuuuut..... not quite. (:

Similar to my own brothers, Ryan is still a young sprout at heart with Legos and Star Wars being among his favorites. :)

Though, now doing college classes, Ryan is well on his way to a successful career!

Well, I am back after 2 weeks of counseling at a Bible Camp near my house! It was such an amazing time that I will never forget. :) Especially since we had several girls that got saved and made some different spiritual decisions! :) Praise the Lord! Family Vacation!

It has been quite awhile! My family and I just got back from our huge family reunion and then went on a wonderful vacation!

For our little mini vacation we visited The Great Smoky Mountains! It was B-E-A-utiful!! God certainly knew what he was doing; He is a genius! You cannot look at those mountains and tell me they came from a BIG BANG! People! There is a wonderful creator who made this world awesome!

Along with our vacation we had the annual family reunion located in the middle of no where! With no cell phone service and nothing but a creek and beautiful mountains in the front and back yard! I LOVE my family... all my cousins that I only get to see once a year, my great aunts and uncles, my grandparents, my closer family, and yes folks.. even my siblings. ;)

Well I hope you enjoy these photos, most are of the little ones at the reunion and the mountains on vacation. I hope you can clearly see how awesome God is through these photos!

Today was a wonderful warm day, as opposed to all the rain we've been getting! It was gorgeous out; A wonderful day to go to Cedar Point! My school held a trip as a group today and I got to go! We had so much fun! I got so many pictures, along with a pretty nice sunburn... :) Roller coasters, sunshine, friends, 2 hour bus rides and food make for quite an enjoyable day! :D Enjoy the pictures!

You know what? I like rain! I have no idea why, I just love it! Well in the past couple of weeks its been raining... a lot... And its been awfully muddy, which is no fun, and we can't go outside and enjoy the warm sunshine when its pouring down buckets! But regardless, I still love the rain! I try to always thank the Lord for it because I know there must be so many people praying for it to go away! :) So here are a few pictures of rain!

Beautiful Flowers for a Wonderful Mother :)

Well my Mother is pretty much amazing and I love her to death! :) And since mothers day is coming up, I thought I'd do a post about her! She is a secretary at her work and does everything and more a secretary could ever be assigned to do! She is so generous and kind to everyone! She can cheer up anyones day! So at her work for secretary week they got her a huge beautiful bouquet of flowers. :) They were sooo pretty and smelled so so good! :) She loved them and was so proud of them! And I was so proud of her! So here are a few pictures of the flowers! (I should have taken a picture of the whole thing but i didn't :( ) I love you Mom!! God bless you!
